Three Charged for Murder of Columbia Man

Three central Missouri men are charged after the body of a Columbia man who disappeared last month was found. The Miller County Sheriff’s office says the body of 41-year-old Aaron Brantley was found near Brumley in Miller County. Brantley’s wife reported him missing February 9th. Christopher English of Eldon, William Lucas and Daniel Cole, both of Kaiser, were charged Monday with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and abandonment of a corpse. The sheriff’s office says a preliminary investigation indicates Brantley died of a gunshot wound. A probable cause statement says a witness told Osage Beach Police Brantley was shot and killed at Lucas’ home in Miller County.
