Columbia Regional Airport reopens

Columbia Regional Airport reopened to all air traffic Saturday morning. No flights had gone out of the airport since last Monday, when the runway was closed for emergency repairs. The crown of the runway, which helps drain off water, was too bumpy for carriers during takeoffs and landings. Crews finished smoothing the runway out over the weekend.
