JCMO / Cole officials ask FEMA for help and funds

Cole County and Jefferson City draft a disaster declaration following the tornado and the ongoing flooding. It’s the first step in applying for disaster assistance from FEMA. If approved, the feds would provide a 75 – percent reimbursement for storm and flood damage to the area.
