A flashback to 1993 for some flooded out Jefferson Citians

It’s not just a stretch of West McCarty at Missouri Blvd near the Capital Plaza Hotel that’s under water (here) in Jefferson City. Now water is getting into some west side homes along Geneva Street. Homeowners there have been sandbagging trying to hold back Greys Creek which is rising due to backwaters from the Missouri River. Deep water has also forced the closure of the Ice Arena in Washington Park.
