JCMO tornado rebuild may take years

Jefferson City officials think it could be as long as two years before the tornado damage is repaired. They say they’re seeing the first applications for building permits starting to come in. Insurance company adjusters have been here for days looking at the damage. Jefferson City dropped the cost of building permits to $25 for those storm damaged homes. A not-for-profit is covering that cost for homeowners.
