JCMO / Cole County tally up the buildings damaged by the tornado

We have an early estimate on how many Cole County buildings were damaged during the May tornado. Inspectors say 611 buildings in the county were damaged… over 500 of them being residential structures. Most of them were homes in Jefferson City. Authorities have not confirmed any deaths because of the EF-3 tornado. But family members claim a Cole County man died as a result of injuries he suffered when the tornado hit his mobile home.
