School threat sees parents pull kids out of a JC school

Some parents decided to pull their children out of (Jefferson City’s) Thomas Jefferson Middle School today (Fri) after a perceived threat. A threat was posted on SnapChat showing a message supposedly written on a wall. Police searched the school but found nothing. While district  officials say they take all threats seriously, they don’t think students or staff were in any real danger. Only a few parents decided to take their children home for the day.
