There’s new interest in buying JCMO’s SSM St. Mary’s Hospital

SSM Health announced yesterday (tue) it plans to sell Saint Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City. The region president said in an open letter it is negotiating with Quorum Health. The deal could become official by the middle of next year. SSM entered negotiations with MU Health late last year, but could not reach a deal. The Sisters of Saint Mary Infirmary first set up a hospital in Jefferson City in 1902.
