Pet dies in trailer fire

A puppy dies in a south Columbia house fire. Boone County investigators say the fire started last (sun) night in Woodstock Trail Court off New Haven near Highway 63 and Grindstone. A woman inside the single-wide trailer got out safely, but the pet died. No word yet on what caused the fire.
