JCMO near east side fire leaves four homeless

Fire does major damage to a Jefferson City home. Investigators say it started at about 4:00 this (tue) morning on Hess Way near Adams Street. It wasn’t safe to go inside, so crews contained the fire on the outside. No word yet on what caused the fire. No one was hurt. Four people who lived there will need to stay somewhere else.
