JC School Board says ‘no’ to early dismissals

The Jefferson City school board voted last (mon) night not to change its calendar. Teachers wanted a change to the early dismissal schedule to add more time for professional development and planning. Board members said they worried about the impact on students and families if there was less time in the classroom.
