JCMO apartment fire

No one is hurt in a smoky Jefferson City fire Friday night. Crews were called to an apartment complex on East McCarty and found a fire in a kitchen in a second floor apartment. They blame the fire on careless cooking. The fire spread to some kitchen cabinets but didn’t catch any other units on fire.
