Roadwork could cause delays on I – 70

Overnight work along I-70 near the Rocheport bridge will begin Thursday, as part of preparations for construction of a massive new 240-million dollar bridge project. State transportation officials say contractors will be working to strengthen the shoulders and median along I-70. The work will require intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures. The closures will take place between 7 pm and 6 am, through October.
