Sentences handed down in Mid – Mo baby death

A Cole County woman accused in the death of her 2 – month old baby pleads guilty in the child’s death in February. Kayla Brewer saw her charges reduced and was sentenced to probation. She was facing a ten year prison term. An autopsy showed the baby had meth in its system.

The baby’s father Jason Williams also pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to ten years.
