Troopers join Ashland PD investigation

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is now looking into the suspension of Ashland’s police chief.

The Division of Drug and Crime Control confirms they are involved in an investigation of Chief Gabe Edwards.

Edwards has been out on paid leave in Ashland since mid – July. City officials don’t say what prompted the move.
