Helicopter involved in JC airport incident

The pilot is okay after a helicopter accident Monday at the Jefferson City Memorial Airport. It happened about 1:20 Monday afternoon.

The helicopter was found at the west end of the airport.

The small helicopter is registered to Icarus Aviation .. of Cole Camp.

The pilot was the only person on board.

There’s no word on what exactly happened.
