JCMO loses yard waste option

You may have to fire up the burn barrel if you want to get rid of tree limbs and yard waste in Jefferson City.

The Jefferson City Council didn’t sign off on proposals that would have provided yard waste services.

The temporary yard waste drop-off site in Jefferson City is now closed.

Your time to burn yard waste is running out too.  The city only allows open burning of yard waste from Nov. 1-March 1.
