Too dry to burn right now

Hold off on burning any yard waste or tree limbs for the time being. It’s way too dry. Firefighters worked several natural cover fires over the weekend. Fire crews say the undergrowth is very dry. Jefferson City allows open burning inside the city limits, but that window expires March 1^st, which is Friday.
