Mid – Missouri cop shoots blind and deaf dog

The man who owned a blind and deaf dog who was shot and killed by a Sturgeon police officer says the dog was friendly. Police thought the dog was rabid and shot it Sunday.

The dog Teddy was a 13-pound Shih Tzu about 5 years old. Officers say it’s behavior led them to believe the dog had rabies.
