Kenneth Simpson is found guilty of killing a Hermann police officer and critically wounding another. Sergeant Mason Griffith died in the attack at the Hermann Caseys in 2023. Adam Sullentrup was badly wounded but survived. Simpson was convicted of both murder and felony assault. The sentencing phase now begins. The state is asking for the death penalty.
