Accused JCMO killer wouldn’t appear in court

The man accused in the brutal stabbing death of his child’s mother refused to appear in court Wednesday. 36 – year old Sergio Sayles faces murder charges in the stabbing death of Jasmine King last month at her Jefferson City home. The Cole County prosecutor says he will ask for the death penalty if Sayles is convicted.
