The newest group of Missouri military veterans are getting their own memorial at the State Capitol. A new marker honoring the veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan is going in at the Missouri Veterans Memorial on the river side of the State Capitol. The markers recognize veterans going all the way back to the Mexican War in the early 1800’s.
