KWOS is highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week, brought to you by MU Health Care Sports Medicine. This week, we feature Capital City soccer player Connor Bonchonsky.
Last week, the junior scored 10 goals in four games for the Cavaliers including four against School of the Osage. He also scored two goals each in games against Jefferson City, Hannibal and Father Tolton as Capital City went 3-1 for the week.
“Connor is a goal scorer. He hunts for them and he is one that finds himself in good positions and good places and is able to put goals away,” said Capital City Head Soccer Coach Joel Henley.
For the season, Bonchonsky has 21 goals for Capital City.
