Belle Mayor accused of theft

The Mayor of Belle is looking at misdemeanor stealing charges. Daryl White Jr. is accused of taking several dozen cans of paint and other items. The Maries County Sheriff says their investigation is open and there could be more charges. A witness told officers that White had been using the city’s credit card for the purchases.
