Water rescues and widespread power outages followed the Fourth of July storms. Crews had to rescue boaters on both the Osage and Missouri rivers. Falling trees knocked out power all across mid Missouri, leaving thousands without power for hours.
Jefferson City’s Salute to America’s Chris Janson concert was cancelled due to equipment damage during the storms.
