Charges in domestic violence case

A Jefferson City man is charged after a domestic violence incident. Toriano Leavell was charged with domestic assault and weapons charges.He’s accused of hitting and choking a woman in the West Atchison area Tuesday night. He was arrested nearby. Investigators say Leavell appeared to be intoxicated.
