Christmas is coming to uptown Jefferson City. A 36 – foot tall tree is already standing on the Governor’s Mansion lawn. The Mansion will also open for candlelight tours. The tree will be lit at 6 p.m. next Friday. After the lighting, visitors and families can tour the first floor from 6-8 p.m. on Friday Dec. 5 and again Dec. 8.
