A Cole County murder case dating back to the 1990’s is back on. Judge Emily Fretwell had dismissed the murder case against William ‘Chris’ Niemet in the 1991 death of his 14 – year old Russellville high school classmate Greg Jones. But Attorney General Catherine Hanaway stepped in, prompting Fretwell to vacate her decision. An arraignment for Niemet is now set for next week.
