Cole County man charged in sex case with underage girl

A man from Centertown faces charges of raping a 15 – year old girl. 30 – year old Ian Roberts stands accused of picking up the girl in Rolla and bringing her to a Jefferson City motel for sex. The victim claims she met Roberts on Snapchat and asked him to come to Rolla. He told officers he thought the girl was 17.
