Columbia Police have issued an endangered person advisory for a missing 75-year-old man who was last seen walking a dog late Sunday night near Providence and Green Meadows.
CPD is searching for 75-year-old Philip Walter McWhorter, who was last seen walking his dog on South Providence toward Nifong. CPD says Mr. McWhorter suffers from a heart condition and just moved here from Florida and is new to the area.
Columbia Police describe the man as white, about five feet six and 160 pounds wearing a blue jacket over a sweatshirt, Levi’s and tennis shoes. Anyone who sees McWhorter is urged to call 911 or police immediately.
