A fire that started in what may be a homeless encampment catches a Jefferson City billboard on fire. The fire started Sunday night at the camp in the 1400 – block of westbound Highway – 50. Fire investigators say they found the fire involved a ‘small structure’ at the camp. They also found wiring had been tampered with on the sign. The fire burned less than a quarter of the billboard.
