Didn’t feed the meter? Those tickets are going up

There’s a new reason to make sure you feed the meter in downtown Jefferson City. ‘25’ – of them. Starting February 1st, parking tickets will go up to $25. The Council approved the plan this week. Most of those parking fines are currently $6. The city is also hiring an outside firm to manage parking in the Capital City.
