Eldon fugitive caught after he hides in a tree

A man from Eldon faces charges after running from police only to be caught hiding in a tree. Officers say they spotted Brandon Phelps in the drive – thru at Central Bank in Eldon Wednesday. He jumped out of his car and ran. A K 9 team tracked Phelps into some woods nearby and found him hiding up a tree. He was wanted on other charges.
