A correction to our Grain Belt Express power line project story. The Missouri Public Service Commission HAS approved the project that will bring power from wind fields out west to Illinois and some Missouri communities. Grain Belt will provide electric power to nearly 40 – utilities. Grain Belt’s operators claim the project could save Missourians billions of dollars. Phase One should start next year.
