Just in case Jefferson City’s planned downtown conference center doesn’t happen the Council wants to make sure at least a new Madison Street parking garage will become a reality. Councilmen approved funding this week to help construct the new $40 – million garage.
The entire conference center and hotel complex is projected to cost about $130 – million.
