Hermann killer could get the death penalty

Will a convicted Hermann killer face a date with the executioner? Kenneth Simpson was found guilty last week of killing Hermann Police Sergeant Mason Griffith and critically wounding Officer Adam Sullentrup who survived the attack in a Caseys store. Sullentrup testified against Simpson in the sentencing hearing. State attorneys are asking for the death penalty.
