Hermann police officer laid to rest

A large crowd packed the Owensille High School gym for Sunday’s funeral of Hermann Police Sgt. Mason Griffith. He and another officer, Adam Sullentrup, were shot last weekend. Sullentrup survived. Griffith was buried in Rosebud. He leaves behind a wife and two sons. His accused shooter, Kenneth Simpson, faces murder charges.
