JCMO conference draws nearer

They’ll start building Jefferson City’s newest hotel and conference center this spring. The Council this week signed off on a plan to set up a development district and ask the voters to approve a sales tax to help fund improvements for the downtown area. They also okayed a special permit to build the 100,000 square foot $130 – million center.
