JCMO councilmen get heated over Capitol Avenue property bills

Jefferson City Councilmen squared off as they debated a pair of real estate bills Monday night. The bills concerned the sale of some city owned property on Capitol Avenue and Adams Street. Councilman Mark Schwartz wanted the bills moved along, but two other councilmen wanted the discussion delayed until they had more time to go over the proposals. Schwartz accused them of wasting the contractor’s time.
