A driver accused of leaving the scene of an accident that injured two men on a road crew now faces charges. Tracy Fairfax of Jefferson City admits to hitting the men and driving off from the Idlewood – Route C intersection back in June. The workers from Columbia had moderate injuries. Police say Fairfax told them she didn’t have her SUV insured and left the scene.
