JCMO home has fire damage

One person is hurt after an early Monday morning fire in Jefferson City. Crews were called to the 2000 block of Buehrle Drive before 3-am. Heavy smoke was coming from the back of the house. Firefighters say a neighbor was hurt while alerting people inside the home. Everyone got out. The house had heavy damage to the first floor, the attic and a deck. Investigators are still looking at a cause.
