JCMO murder will go to trial almost ten years after the death

A murder suspect will finally go to trial next year in a Jefferson City killing that happened nearly ten years ago. Shavontay Estes is accused of shooting Dennis Thompson at a home on Collier Court back in 2017. The trial is set for next June.
