JCMO parking rates may go up .. way up

You could end up having to drive around to hunt for a cheaper place to park near the State Capitol. The City Council is discussing raising rates for choice parking spots near the Statehouse. The city has hired a contractor to manage downtown parking. They’re recommending $2 – an hour for spaces right around the Capitol.
