JCPS teachers are getting a raise

It just got a little more lucrative to teach in the Jefferson City’s schools. Staff will see a $1800 pay hike taking starting pay to $43,399 a year. It’s the largest base pay increase the district has seen in almost 20 – years. The School Board passed their $172 million budget last week.
