Mizzou football’s sold-out game Saturday at Faurot Field in Columbia will now kick off at noon, rather than 3 pm. Mizzou faces Louisiana in a non-conference game.

The extreme heat has prompted Mizzou Athletics to adjust the start time. Mizzou athletic director Laird Veatch says he’s incredibly grateful to fans for their understanding as they make this adjustment.
Mizzou Athletics consulted with the National Weather Service (NWS) and the university’s public safety partners to adjust the start time. Saturday’s high in Columbia will be 96 degrees, according to meteorologist Jessica Hafner at our news partner ABC-17.

Mr. Veatch says digital tickets for Saturday’s game will adjust automatically. He also says football fans can bring one clear factory sealed water bottle into the stadium that can be refilled by “water monsters” stationed at the east and west concourses.
Tiger fans are also reminded that you must enter Memorial Stadium on the side where your seats are located.
