KWOS is highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week, brought to you by MU Health Care Sports Medicine. This week we feature Helias forward Logan Hillman. The senior had a big weekend at the Bolivar Tournament, scoring 85 points in 3 games. Hillman also went over 1,500 career points at Helias when he scored 26 points in a Crusaders win over Branson. "Logan is a dominant player on both sides of the ball for our team. Night in and night out he puts up big numbers all while being the main focus of every team's scouting report. He is a true competitor that only gets better when the stakes get higher," said Helias Head Basketball Coach Joe Rothweiler. Hillman is currently averaging 17.1 points per game for the Helias Crusaders. He also averages 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 steals a game. Logan Hillman also played on the Helias football team this year. In mid-November, he was selected as the KWOS Athlete of the Week for his performance in a Helias district title win over Blue Springs.
