KWOS is highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week, brought to you by MU Health Care Sports Medicine. This week we feature Blair Oaks Falcons senior guard Logan Hoffman. At the Central Bank Great 8 Classic, Hoffman’s tough defense created turnovers for the Falcons. On offense, Hoffman’s passing and assists gave the Blair Oaks basketball team several good looks to score. In the Consolation Championship game against West Memphis Christian, Logan scored 13 points, including an 11 point second half. Hoffman’s efforts landed him on the Jim Byland All-Tournament Team. “Logan is a kind, respectful, and quiet kid off the court but on the court brings an energy, effort and excitement that out matches others. His positive relationship with his teammates and hardworking mentality provides our team with great leadership,” said Blair Oaks Head Basketball Coach Nick Voss. Blair Oaks picked up wins over Helias (68-62) and West Memphis Christian (81-66) in the holiday basketball tournament. The Falcons are currently 7-1 on the season.
