Zimmer Communications and 93.9 The Eagle are proud of Kevin Kelly who has been named to the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. Kevin’s 48 years of calling prep sports games on radio has been a Jefferson City radio staple on KWOS, which is owned by Zimmer Communications. Kevin’s dedication to highlighting the achievements of our state’s best prep athletes has been an important part of our mission.
Throughout his tenure at KWOS, Kelly has broadcast 23 MSHSAA Football Show-Me Bowl games and covered basketball action from 25 Basketball Show-Me Showdowns, in addition to providing wrestling reports from the MSHSAA Wrestling Championships.
Beyond game coverage, Kelly has hosted the KWOS Coaches Show for more than three decades, further strengthening connections between student-athletes, coaches and communities throughout the region.
