A Mid – Missouri lawmaker says he’ll go after sub-standard dog breeders. Columbia State Rep. David Tyson Smith says he’ll pre-file a bill calling for regular inspections of those businesses. This comes after Melissa Sanders of Columbia is facing felony animal abuse charges after a large number of dogs were found dead or in poor condition at her facility.
