The owner of a blind and deaf dog shot to death by a Sturgeon cop is now suing the city. Our news partner ABC – 17 says the suit claims Officer Myron Woodson wasn’t properly trained and was paid $16,000 when he was reinstated after the incident last year. The Shih – Tzu’s owner Nicholas Hunter wants the case to go to trial. Sturgeon officials say Woodson shot the dog thinking it had rabies.
